Default Potter and Blade Runner sets coming to Blu ray and HD dvd

http://www.videobusiness.com/article/CA6461120.html

The Harry Potter set, priced at $119.97 standard-definition and $149.99 Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD, will hold the first five films including the most recent theatrical installment, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It represents the first time Warner has enhanced a Potter collection with exclusive memorabilia, which includes bookmarks and collectible trading cards.

The five-disc Blade Runner set is $78.92 and four-disc is $34.99. Blu-ray and HD DVD versions of the five-disc configuration also will be available day and date.

I don't buy any set until they stop making movies for it {which is why I haven't bought the Die Hard set yet} so a Harry Potter set is out of the question for awhile.

The Blade Runner set though, that DOES pique my interest.

So the 5 disc "Blade Runner" is $78.92 while the 4 disc version is $34.99. WTF?
that makes little sense.

i don't understand how they're getting 5 discs for a blade runner set... or even 4 discs. 1 disc for the theatrical... 1 for the director's cut... 1 for special features (i guess)... what the heck else can they put on the discs?

I believe this is the special edition numbered "Metal Suitcase" set, with photos, etc. I could be wrong. The SD has one. It contains the European cut, Director's Cut, Theatrical Cut, and The Ultimate cut.

There's the "new" "new" version, the original European version, American version, and director's cut version.

Blade Runner is a must for me, i hope they offer the HP films individually though unlike the recent Matrix Boxed set i bought.

There are like 3 out of all of them i really liked.

My favorite HP film is Goblet Of Fire. I've not seen the new one.

Well my understanding has always been that "Blade Runner" was initially coming to HD-DVD with the Blu-ray release later. So does this mean both are coming out at the same time or not? I'm still not certain if anybody knows. I did originally see this as a big deal for HD-DVD, but now it's up in the air I guess.
