Kosty, back in mid- September...

Its really a question of how much September will be this year to end 3Q 2011 and how well October kicks in before the holiday sales season starts where the seasonal increases really kick in.

Looking like its gonna be a flat Dec for blu-ray YOY.

Consumers don't care about the software anymore. Its about the hardware. Ipads and smartphones and kindles. That is what consumers WANT

Remember this also insludes the Sunday of black friday as well as cyber monday. They were record sales for black friday and cyber monday.

Kosty was only off my 20 million or so. But hey at least he voted this time! So I'll give him that. :yay:

The numbers just made it into the poll. Any lower and it might not have been enough to qualify for this poll. LOL! So how exactly are all these new owners showing themselves? You know like it was said last year and the year before? :magnifingglass:

And when have they not? LOL.

Trying to frame this argument away from the gross difference in Box Office? In fact 50% in strength?

Just saw the data and will have the usual summary up soon.

Clearly the impact of Twilight: Eclipse last year overwhelmed the YoY comparison numbers.

The Smurfs was no match for The Twilight Saga:Eclipse in this direct comparison.

Clearly! Looks like the Smurfs failed to excite consumers in both 2D and 3D. Sony must be thrilled with such low sales numbers during the Holidays.
