Its B2B information and I know some people that are concerned with this attack.

Toshiba Hackers don't scare me. I'll use my XA2 Remote as a weapon!

There are much more annoying and closer neighbors who will do anything to disrupt your life than Toshiba!

I have both an HD XA1 and HD XA2 one to use as self defense tools.

One lights up when you wave it around and can scare small children and pets in the dark.

On the other side, do not I repeat attempt to use your Toshiba laptop as a club, or at least have current data backups if you do......

My Macbook Air is so light, it wouldn't hurt a fly. No bulky harddrive or disc drive for this guy.

I really like my newish Toshiba laptop. I have felt crippled without it recently.

But I had a hard drive failure and I lost some data. *argh* including weeks and weeks worth of major updates to my main Blu-ray stats spreadsheets and database and updated graphs that I need now to re create. My fault for seeing my autobackup for that file was not working properly although all my real world business stuff was safe. Alas.

You don't sync with "the cloud"? Everyday...just in case.

When I went on a trip I changed my automatic backup routine and that file got missed.

I usually emailed me another copy before a trip or once a week but I got sloppy because i thought I was covered. I learned my lesson and I have a full backup to the cloud going on now.

I already know that this year will be known as the "Year of the Hack Attacks" by all the major news outlets at the end of the year.
