If it's a packin it only helps solidify that they need titles to move players. If so, only shows how pathetic BD player sales are that people will have to buy another BD player to yet them. Panasonic has something to do with this. 3D versions exclusive? Fine, don't care. Just make the 2D normal releases.

I can only hope they don't do something this stupid. Just release them normally.

Which forum member has complained the loudest about the lack of good quality catalog titles coming out on Blu-ray? Who was it? Can another forum member refresh my memory?

The DVD came out 2004. Guess that means blu ray is just so awesome they can release it earlier. Or maybe now it means its so crappy they need Star Wars to help it. Cant keep up with the spins.

Lucas waited to release until DVD peaked. Take from that what you will for the BD releases.

You mean 2 fantastic films, 2 medicore and 2 crappy films.

I'll get all six, but I'll wait to see the MSRP. Lucas knows he can charge a crapload of money for these.

Yeah. This is just the official announcement. They need some big need for newspapers and such to carry.
And we all know it will be the revised versions.

Hopefully they release it with the option for single discs, or at least the option to buy the trilogies separately.
