Default Grindhouse Presents Planet Terror on StarzHD

Planet Terror will premiere on StarzHD on March 1. Death Proof will be later in the month. Just thought some would like to know. These will be the Unrated versions.

I was able to see them in high def on PPV through my cable provider. I must say, they look great. I thought that the post-production effects would hinder clarity but it didn't. 'Planet Terror' looks better, but 'Death Proof' looks great when the second part with Zoe starts. However, 'Death Proof' was not in its original aspect ratio, which sucks.

I was afraid of that, though Planet Terror really isn't either. In the theater, they were both 2.35:1.

Both of these movies are intended to look like crappy quality aren't they? So how would you tell if its intentionally crappy or not?

I'm currently on the road and had the SO tape this for me. Did these show with the faux trailers?

free on Starz HD on demand on comcast... both movies seperatly as extended cuts and together with the fake movie trailers as grindhouse.

I actually prefer the SD over the HD versions.

Just curious as to why?

Also, are these shown together on StarzHD as one with the faux trailers? I haven't seen it listed yet as just Grindhouse.
