Default Best Football Coverage.....

What networks do you feel cover NFL in HD better. I think that NBC's coverage comes across really sweet. They must be broadcasting in 1080..Fox i know is running 720....What do you think?

NBC HD and CBS HD look the best IMO. I particularly like the team of Al Michaels and John Madden on NBC.

Ok this is sort of a related question... just the other day I noticed that the NFL Network wasn't being shown on my cable. It said that it was a subscription service. It has always been part of the regular digital package before. I have Comcast. Anyone know if this is a mistake?

Subscription service? That's weird. I get the NFL network here in Louisville. It's part of a sports package i get from Insight.

Maybe Comcast has a new sports package?

I've got DirecTv and the NFL Network is in the base package. With the HD pack, you get a HD NFL Network channel that shows whatever they show in HD.

Comcast sucks. I found out that they instituted this new premium "sports package" and made the NFL Network a part of it. It's only $1.99 per month and it includes a few other sports networks, but still. NFL Network was always free before. Bastards.

I like ESPN the best, with NBC coming in a close 2nd.

CBS is still good but I've noticed they have signal dropouts, and in the pre-season a lot of focus issues. As for Fox i've never been impressed.

but no matter which network you watch it's still infinite better than the SD stream.

Fox has the worst HD i think they are in a very unimpressive 720p. I love ESPN and i must NBC is looking pretty good. The colts game Thursday looked amazing. Also the Notre Dame vs PennState game was crazy sick. All those White Towles and pawn pawns(sp) Love football season, even if my Florida State Seminoles and Buc's both suck. Hey is it possible the best teams in Florida are UF, USF and UCF. It could man....
