The satellite provider has yet to renew its contract agreement with AMC Networks.

I'm hoping they'll get the Dodgers & Pac-12 Networks.

Here we go again ... FUCK the networks and their ridiculous strong arm tactics. They always start out wanting a 300% increase in fees, then it gets stalled, channels go away. Ultimately there are blackouts and eventual out of control satellite/cable provider fees. How is it channels like say INSP provide FREE SIGNALS and still makes a profit? Free signal and Directv dropped them, smart. Charge more, drop channels.

It's always hard to tell whose fault it is. AMC blames DirecTV and DirecTV blames AMC. I did see last night during the Walking Dead broadcast that DirecTV aired a commercial saying that AMC's contract still had 3 months left and they were expecting them to renew the contract as normal.

AMC says here's you renewal contract (reflecting a 300% increase in fees) then Directv says hell no.
So then the finger pointing begins. This happens with pretty much every contract negotiation. CBS, Viacom, AMC, whomever.
