Default 360-Degree Broadcasting in Development

A Japanese telecom company is experimenting with broadcasting live events through head-mounted displays with 360-degree viewing.

I hope they are capturing with high-resolution cameras so that you can do more than turn your head, but actually "move" through the environment without loosing clarity. I mean, could you imagine 360 if you were strapped to a single position for two hours, or worse, if you have a director doing fast cuts of a song? First would be boring, the later would be vomit-inducing

I like this method of broadcasting live events. Hope it is successful and takes off. Watching the Super Bowl or UFC fights in this way?? OH YEAH...sign me up!
