So it look like they announced a bucketload of Titles to answer Paramounts defection to HD DVD , question is how many will actually see the release date?.

You make it sound worse than it is. "Indefinite" is a strong word to use when they've said there will be a new release date set soon. Indefinite implies there will be no release date set.

Actually, I know this because I'm a huge sports fan and teams will always say that a player is either out indefinitely because of an injury or a player is suspended indefinitely, which indefinitely means uncertain or undecided.

Yes, the word literally means "unknown" or some such biznass, but the connotations of the word implies forever.

Like right now, Andre Johnson is injured but I haven't heard anybody say he's out indefinitely because he's not hurt too bad. He's out for next week, and he may be out longer - it's uncertain - but it's not been called indefinite.

That's because he's listed as questionable and not listed out indefinitely.
