Default Is scaling HD DVDs to 450p a waste of energy? (through the 360)

I really don't feel like going through the whole process of redoing my whole setups (in two rooms), but I have a 800x600 projector. A 16:9 image would be 450 pixels high. Less than standard DVD. Do you think I'd see any benifit between HD-DVD and SD DVD? Will it (somehow) look sharper?

You should notice a difference but it it may not be that drastic as if you had a "true" HD setup......I would update you video eq when it is available to you and you will reap the benifits and wonder why you didnt do it sooner
