Default Blu Ray For The 360

http://kotaku.com/gaming/xbox-360/xb...ray-148031.php

After seeing this and then looking at my 360 add on a blu ray add on would fit right next to the hd dvd add on. Hmm do you think microsoft designed the add on like that on purpose? Rounded on one side flat on the other.

What are your thoughts?

Although it would fit nicely it would also cover the holes on the top of the 360. As over heating is already a problem I don't think this would be the way to go.

Also, I believe they designed it like this so you could stand it on its side (or they would have rounded both edges).

first, Peter Moore left Microsoft to go to EA a while ago, so its an old article and microsoft being an hd-dvd supporter, I dont think they would of said such thing publicly about blu-ray, at least not back then. My guest is its a false rumor.

As a purple Hi-Def supporter via game consoles, I would sell my PS3 and my current 360 to upgrade to an internal Blu 360. I would not purchase another add-on drive since the 360 is only HDMI 1.2

Before this to happen Bill Gate will turn into a mad cannibal eating up himself.

So actually far from reality.

With my luck, when I buy the Blu-Ray add on, the format will become as promising as HD DVD.

Also, Sony Laptops use Windows. Microsoft used Vios at their CES speech. I do not believe their their entire corporate relations equal that of the video game market.

This would make my High-Definition disc buying a hell of a lot better.

Well I am surprised that you would post this, being such an old article. Here is something a little newer, like from last week.

http://kotaku.com/tag/microsoft/

Scroll down a few stories and you will see that Microsoft is still very much in bed with HD DVD and will not be going Blu anytime soon. This is from the same site you got your link from. I can't say I understand why you would post your link thou. owell just clearing the air.
