Question 360 add on remote question?

So I sit down with the wife to finally watch the Bourne Identity last weekend, and volume button starting acting up. I like movies loud, which the wife has a problem with...so whenever there was a loud action scene, I would go to turn down the volume a bit, since we have a couple of kids upstairs. When I hit the volume button, nothing happened. I never had a probem with it before then. When I hit the button, the others on the remote lit up, so it seems like the remote is ok. Is there a setting I could have changed? I have to try to find the add on direction book to check it out.

It's not that big of a deal, but using 1 remote to watch a movie is a lot better than 2.

thanks for any info!

i forgot to add that the remote works fine with the 360 and the add on itself... the hd dvd functions work fine, and turning the 360 off and on is also fine. I have a RCA tv and RCA surround sound, which is where the problem is... again, thanks for any help!

How did u get yours to eject from the addon? Mine opens up the xbox itself. Also maybe reprogram it that could help.

ok...i changed the batteries, and then the volume button worked.

The eject button only works for the 360 itself, and not the addon. Maybe you can change the setup, but I don't know.

How do you get your remote to adjust the volume? I definitely need a tutorial.

I guess I deserve to be laughed at!! But really, the remote worked fine for everything except the volume...maybe it shouldn't have taken a few days for me to change the batteries!
