Default Should I leave it plugged in?

I just got the HD DVD add-on for my 360 and I was wondering if I should leave the drie plugged in all the time even when I am only using the 360 for games? It seems like a waste of electricity to keep it plugged in all the time.

Lightbulb hmm...unplug the drive, save the world

I personally like saving electricity and the world one unplugged electronic at a time. So I just unplug mines when I play games. I'd rather have it off then standby but that's just my preference. It would be a nice feature if the drive turned off while a game was being played though.
