From personal experience you should't put your 360 in any type of shelving that has a door, and stay away from that inter cooler. I keep mine standing up and elevated a bit so the bottom gets good air flow. Couple of my buddies put them in entertainment centers and had game playback problems or the red ring! I just bought a 20.00 av cart from target and put my dvr, ps3, and xbox on top. I also had a lot of problems whith my hd dvr, i am on # 4 now. Air flow very important.

I've seen those things melt onto the back of the 360, a problem which nyko says has been corrected. But, this maybe only me, I DON'T trust it. You don't need it anyways as long as your console isn't stuffed into some confined space.

If you need a cooling fan the Pelican Fan Stand works very well. Plugs into the USB slot in the back, and it keeps my 360 pretty well cooled. Has a slot for a remote and a game too if you like that sort of thing. $20 at a gamestop.

Keep in mind that the 360 needs to be in a well vented area! The more open space the better!
