Default Question specifically for 360 users

Do you use the HD cables which came with the XBox 360? Or did you buy some other brand to replace the HD cables which came with such as Monster, Psyclone or Gamestop cables?

I use the VGA cables jsuy because I want to use that connection type so the 360 will upscale. I would worry about the type of cables you want not the maker - if component is what you want, then use the MS ones.

I use the component cables that the X360 came with and the picture is beautiful. I have considered buying the VGA cables in order to have full 1080p and upscaling of DVD's, but I haven't done it, yet.

I bought my system in January and used the component cables. Then I realized I wanted to take it over to friends houses so I bought a case and got a set of Pelican S-Video/Composites for about $19 which was way less than MS at the time. I would leave my components in place on the TV along with connected optical audio. So basically, I just disconnect the component cable and power. Pack up in my case and use the S-Videos where ever I travel.

Now, with the add on, I bought the VGA from MS cause I just didn't want to take a chance or waste time. Now my components are in the case as well and if someone has RGB, we are good to go.

I use the component cables that came with the 360. I see no need to buy any from Monster or any other company to swap with. It's not like these cables are 20' long or something.

Cables that came with the 360 work perfectly...buying new component cables seems like a waste to me.
