Elite gives you the best value. Don't get Halo 3 xbox 360, just a rip off. You pay for the Halo logos.

Elite man, trust me you will be happy. Not only is it the best looking 360 by far but it's huge 120 gig harddrive and HDMI will let you download tons of stuff and also make games look better.

About 6 months ago, I would have said get the Elite hands down, but now that the Pro systems come with HDMI ports, it makes the decision a bit harder.

The main factor should really be how much you download on Xbox Live or if you plan on storing a large amount of media, because demos and Xbox Live Arcade games can fill up your hard drive quick. If not, than I say get the Pro bundle, because if you're strictly going to game you won't make much use out of the larger hard drive. I got the Elite because I am hardcore about Xbox Live Arcade and do make much use out of the 120GB hard drive.

The Halo edition really is a rip though. $50 more for just an ugly green system (20GB hard drive, no less, and no HDMI cable in-box) with even uglier orange decals on it.

Default elite

I am considering selling my elite with halo 3 limited edition. Car went out and I need money. I would give you my cell and home phone number so you wouldnt be afraid of being ripped off. Pm me if you are interested. The elite is only about 1 month old. Comes with everything it did when brand new.

core - for cheap asses and people that will never play online (online play is fun and u definatly have to dl map packs and extras

pro - for online gamers... now comes with hdmi (look on the side of the box before you purchase. definatly a good purchase... coemw with hdd(worth 99 by itself) and wireless controllers(another 10 worth) and hd component cables. (i bought the vga cables for dvd up conversion and 1080p on my samsung lcd) now with the new hdmi, you can have upconversion and 1080p on any tv, not just ones like samsung that take 1080p over component/vga

elite - for media junkies. i really need a bigger hd

halo 3 pack... meh a pro with a play and charge kit and matching controller... definitly a premium price relativly speaking. cool if ur a really big halo 3 fan.

i got for christmas last year. debating on getting an elite or jsut the 120gb hdd. if i got the hdd, i'd probially get a core for my 20gbhdd and keep it at my other tv
