Default Which is better...1080i over componet or 720p over VGA for my Xbox 360

I have a Westinghouse 32 inch 1080i HDTV.

Could someone please tell me the pros and cons of each one because I'm thinking about getting the xbox 360 VGA cable.

Thanks for your help guys

I think if your HDTV has a native resolution of 1080i...then that might be better for it....

I had component cables for my 1080i Toshiba Regza LCD, then I switched over to VGA (basically because it was more convenient for me, and now I get DVD up-conversion via my HD DVD add-on). But just remember, there's the HDMI cable coming out really soon for the standard XBOX 360, so maybe you'd want to wait for that?
