Default Star Wars HD DVD...

A year or two ago I saw Star Wars listed as out of stock on HD DVD on some foreign country's sales site while I was looking for imports. I kind of brushed it off as maybe a rumored release or something that never happened...

But now I'm seeing Star Wars (the original 3) cover arts on the custom covers sites. Does this mean people actually have Star Wars on HD DVD... since they have custom covers available for them..

If so, where did you get them?

I remember awhile back that somebody posted an Ebay auction that had them for sale. They were sold but I don't remember what ever became of them.

Might be a bootleg of some sort, SW on HD dvd would have made big news if legit.

There are HD SW files out there, some fit on a dvd, some are bigger. It is possible i guess.

They are bootlegs. Some made custom HD DVDs with the HD version on them (ripped from TV of course).

Thumbs up

Would love to see these custom images, for a 'what if' or a 'if only' feeling.

No these are fake.

If I remember correctly, someone had recorded the movies in 1080i on a pvr when they were being shown in HD on SciFi or Spike?? and then transferred them to a regular 9 GB blank DVD with the video compressed to fit.

They then made "custom" covers for it.

I believe they, along with other bogus titles also appeared on a few Russian sites, but they were not official releases-definitely fake.

Default Star Wars

I didn't find a single thing funny in the family guy star wars episodes. These were done so much better. I know Seth Green is the voice of Chris. That hasn't got anything to do with anything.
