it's been announced for France.

ppl say that because constintine, batman begins, harry potter goblet of fire, and many other great titles are on hd dvd with HDi In-movie experience already for a year , which is picture in picture special features, and still have yet to make an appearance on blu-ray due to BD-J problems(blu-ray disc java technology)

i don't know why but warner prpobably doesn't want to release their movies without doing anything extra on it.

It may be exclusive, but it's been apparent for a while that WB PREFERS HD DVD over blu-ray. But they're not stupid enough to pass on blu-ray sales.

I don't understand any studio that stays exclusive to one format. Put your movies on both and let the public decide!

Yeah taking a quote from Home Media Magazine

Betting on both sides of the coin seems to have benefitted Warner sales since the inception of both. When combining sales of both formats since inception, Warner holds a 31.6% market share, followed by Universal and Sony with 17.4% each, Paramount (11%), Buena Vista (7%), Lionsgate (6.8%), Fox (6%) and MGM (1.4%).
Warner has really embraced high def the most and its paying off for them. They even have a website dedicated to their high def releases and showing the differences from DVD to high def.

I believe in France it may be Exclusive to HD DVD, but here in the US Warner will relase it on Both........The lsit where you saw it and it was stated as HD DVD exclusive was the France list from earlier in the year.

I find it interesting that the screenshot Microsoft chose to use to show off their new Messenger service on XBL (that will be available as part of their Spring update) was 300.

Check it out:

Since it's a WB film, and since WB LOVES to use VC-1, I would feel comfortable enough to say it's going to be more than just a Marketplace item.

We just need a U.S. date now.
