I got it and I love it. It made me crank the sound more today than even seeing it on DVD seven years ago.

This recently came on TV, I had forgotten how good it was, great film indeed, So it's definitely on my "To Buy" list.

For whatever reason I got a skip on it around 1 hour and 27 minute mark. This usually happens for me on combos (HD-A35) that were made circa the Good Shepherd and Children of Men era but never on a plain HD DVD. Anyway, not sure whether I want to go through the hassle of exchanging it.

Sound is good - video, well, I guess in the end it was a mid 1990s movie.

Just watched our "Twister" HD-DVD. Absolutely terrific and loads of fun. Excellent PQ & AQ.
Once again, as usual, there is no need or point to replacing this HD-DVD with its blu-ray counterpart as there is no improvement to be gained.

I had rented the BD of TWISTER before I later purchased the HD DVD. I have to agree with you. No differences in audio/video.

Why is the HD DVD of this movie so expensive on Amazon? Is it considered a collector's item because it was Warner's last release? The Blu-Ray is only $9 new and this is going for $19 and up.

Yeah - for some reason this HD-DVD title is way overpriced on EBay also. The BD and HD-DVD of this title appear to be virtually identical, as far as pq, aq and extras are concerned based on the reviews. I can't speak personally, since I only have the HD-DVD.
