Default Rio Bravo / The Cowboys Coming To HD DVD

"The Look and sound of Perfect" has covers for the Warner titles THE COWBOYS and RIO BRAVO. Looks like an announcement is about to me made in regards to thier release on HD DVD.

Dang gum it! My wallet sure was thicker when we had a "drought" of new releases.

Warner did an outstanding job with "The Searchers". Hopefully these will be similarly superb restorations.

The announcement on the main page says these are Paramount releases. I think they are Warner Bros. produced films. The SD versions on DVD were WB.

We'll certainly keep you posted if and when Paramount officially announces 'Rio Bravo' and 'The Cowboys' on either format

Haven't seen The Cowboys, but I loooooooove Rio Bravo. Great Movie... "Just my rifle, pony, & me"

If you've seen the Soprano's episode "Pie O My" it's the western that Tony watches as he's eating ice cream on the sofa and they use the Dean Martin song in the end credits. Genius.

NICE! Count me in for Rio Bravo as it was filmed in Old Tucson. My parents live 3 miles from there and I make a point to visit every time I'm in town. I love that area and can't wait to see the Tucson Mountains in the background! Yeee-Haaa!
