Thumbs up Serenity: Special Edition, Coming to HD DVD?

Don't think any of us is surprised to learn that Serenity is coming to DVD as a 2-disc Special Edition this summer, considering the strong sales of the 1-disc release and the missing content from Region 1 that other areas of the world got.

The question is, will this be coming to HD-DVD and if so, when and for how much? I'll be buying it on release day; if watching it a dozen times hasn't dulled the experience for me yet, nothing will.

I would only purchase this again if they included lossless sound on it....I also thought some outdoor scenes are very noisy compared to the indoor scenes.

Love the movie, love the series though....

It rocks, fell asleep in the cinema watching it (not because the film was bad, long nights editing) so wasnt sure if i'd like it or not but took the chance and i watch it over and over. I use it sometimes to show off my HD setup to visitors

Maybe this will be the start of Universal including TrueHD in their movies.

King Kong Extended Edition with TrueHD please!

The wasn't because I didn't like it, it's because I just got it and now there might be a special edition.

Yeah, thats what frustrated me about dvd's. I would have thought they'd stop it since HD discs can hold so much more but i guess it's something we can't escape.
