Default Toshiba commercials are hitting the air

Just saw a commercial for HD DVD during Chelsea Lately. First time in almost 6 months I've seen anything on TV. I'm hoping this is a trend that keeps up. They need to blanket the networks with as many TV spots as possible. I really only mention this becuase up until seeing this commercial, I've had the feeling that Toshiba is just trying to clear out their players with the new price drop. But now, I can't see them spending money to run TV ads if they aren't honestly ready to put up a fight.

Just recieved Meet Joe Black and Payback in the mail today. Feeling good about my purchase now.

they still need to market a lot more, I still haven't seen a commercial but I've heard of other people seeing them.

I think the best thing would be to market in Regal theaters, so all the people that go see movies see hd dvd ads

It's about time.

I'm "RED" at heart, but it's a shame that it took WB bolting for the HD folks to wake up.

Same here. I spent most of November and all of December wondering if the HD DVD camp was asleep at the wheel.

Maybe it's just me, but in all fairness, I've noticed this out of both camps over the last year. It seems like every time either side gets some momentum going they just start napping.

I've seen them on Universal HD (go figure) and I think I saw one on Fox Sports AZ... but, I could be wrong on the particular sports channel, it was late, and I was tired.

I've been seeing them for about 3 weeks, mostly on HD channels.

They already got the hardware figured out, i.e. great prices & deals, soon they should focus on software. Anyway, I can't remember the last time a commercial made me buy anything.
