Default OPERATION: NO MORE BLU From WB

Your Mission should you accept is to avoid Wb blu-ray new release at all cost. If you can hold off three weeks or 6 weeks for the HD DVD version then do so.

Make those old HD DVD purchases from WB that you been holding off for , make them on the day of those movies you are being told u can't buy.

Unite And buy HD DVD ........

The future is Red....... The future is NOW!!!!!!!!

This message will self destruct

P.S Copy and paste this on all hd forums Spread the word.....

Unfortunately I have no bias towards one format over the other and will be picking up the Blu-ray versions. Besides, the HD DVD releases will be crappy combo discs so I would of gone Blu-ray anyways.

For what purpose? To get WB to change their mind? Let's see, a couple thousand sales vs. $500 million.

Which would you pick?

very true on 2 points that OP didn't mention....if we have both formats, why should we wait 3 weeks, and get a crappy combo version? i friggin' HATE combos. i'll keep this tact and stop here since it ain't smackdown.....

Default I Can't See the Fat Lady.....

As long as Paramount and Universal stay exclusive to HD DVD there is still a chance
that HD gains ground. All the people jumping out the window and returning there players really are being shortsighted. The Blu camp really is lacking in many areas, that need not be mentioned here again, when I look at my collection of both formats I always gravitate towards HD because of the quality of the overall experience. All of the HD stand alone units are upgradeable and already do what the existing BD can't.There will be an exciting time ahead as long as HD keeps going.Have you noticed that all MSRP are now at about $40 since the Warner announcement. These forums have become filled with juvenile rants and name calling.Plenty of BD supporters choking on glee.Meanwhile BD prices still remain high and can't perform to HD's level. What happens when all the BD supporters that are currently out there can't upgrade to be able to have PIP and web conectivity.Everything from the A1 and up has had those features. If BDA and Sony are as reliable as they have been then there may be a lot of upset people .Warner may be one of them.
I for one will continue to buy both and HD when I have the choice. What I can't get in one format I will buy in the other.I do hope the pedulum swings back again toward HD but either way the only winner of the war is not us.Competition is what benefits the consumer.
