Default I pledge to continue to buy my movies on HD DVD until a winner is crowned.

I shall continue to promote and purchase my movies on the superior HD DVD format until Toshiba announces they will stop supporting the format, if that day comes, only then will I look elsewhere.

All movies that I wish to own, as long as I can afford them, I will purchase on HD DVD when available and not on that other format. This includes HD DVD movies from Warner Brothers and New Line Cinema. I do this not for Warner, but because of the HD DVD logo at the top.

I know that HD DVD is the superior format, I knew it when I purchased my player, and I still know it today. Billion dollar bribes will not sway me from that belief.

Yep. If it's released in HD, I will continue to buy them. Until then, business as usual.

No question, I like HD DVD as well, and unless I see the remaining studios capitulate, I think there are still paths for them to remain relevant, though likely not dominant.

That doesn't mean I won't go neutral in the future, but I won't abandon my favorite format just because of some negative news items.

[edit]
Just ordered Pan's Labyrinth as well, for personal confirmation.

I am Purple, but definitely prefer HD-DVD. It is the better format.

I will also continue supporting it, to the end. No, **** it. I will continue supporting it, even if Toshiba ends it. I will continue supporting it forever

Agreed, unless they annouce they stop, they only lost a battle, not the war.
I think Blu brainwashed boys should stop dancing on the edge of the Abyss.
Both formats will continue. Warner will be back in HD-DVD game by this time next year.

Put me down for Purple as well. I do prefer my HD tho. I will continue to buy on HD until the end of either format. Not to mention I will still buy Warner HD films.
