Default PiP Problems... How Can I Fix This?

Guys I am having a problem with PiP. On all the movies that I try to use the HDi PiP stuffs, I have a very hard time hearing what the PiP parts are saying. I am be playing a movie fairly loudly and when I choose PiP, the people seem to be talking whisper quiet. Is there a volume setting for this or anything? I find this is one of my biggest complaints about it is that I can't hear crap. What is the point in it being there if I can't hear it.

Also, is there a way to set the player to auto rewind to right before the PiP portion starts? I get so distracted sometimes with trying to figure what is going on with the PiP that I can't follow the movie. Even if I could hear the PiP, I still would lose track of the movie. For some reason I remember somebody telling me it could be done.

I have the X360 add-on by the way.

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I know on Universal titles, you can change the volume. I forgot exactly where, but during U-Control hit menu and scroll through the various options. One of them is to set the volume from low-high. I can't remember if other studios have this functionality.

*Some* Universal movies with U-Control allow for it, not all(as far as I've seen). I am still rearing back from the IME experience of The Matrix films. Cranking the volume WAY up whenever it came on so you could hear what they were saying only to have it going off(and back to the movie) and the film's sound blowing your balls off. It sucks.

Like Geonosis says, some movies will allow for it. From what I remember, you can adjust it in either the "Setup" or U-Control menu. I've yet to see a Warner IME title that lets you do it.

As for skipping right to pieces with U-Control PiP/Warner IME, they both allow you to do this, but in different ways. With Warner, you'll see a little disc at the top of the screen, highlighting(and activating) the forward facing arrow will take you to the very next scene with IME(you can also use the "back" arrow to go back to the last scene). With U-Control it has to be done in the U-Control menu(as far as I can tell).

no problems with the last 2 harry potter movies... though at points after the PiP bits were done the movie volume would remain at a lower level

Thanks for the insight guys. Like Digital Man5, I have had my ears bleed for turning the volume up to hear and then when the movie comes back on I lose all my senses because I get blasted. Thanks again.

Do you let your receiver do the audio decoding. (bitstream). If you do that is probably the reason the sound is not right. Try changing the setting to PCM.... I know I have to do it with the HD-XA2.
