Default Help me figure something out on The Matrix HD DVD box sets please

I just got The Complete Matrix box set which comes with 3 single-sided discs, movie on one side and the label on the other. I hear that The Ultimate Matrix box set has double sided discs. One side is the movie and the other side is the special features, kinda like a combo disc. Is this true? If so, I'm kinda glad I got the complete version cause I hate not having a nice label on the front of the disc.

Personally, I prefer getting the additional content. Not having a label is onlyv a very minor inconvenience for me.

I got the complete for the same reason. I hate combo-disc.

Sounds like the UK Complete is a mix of the two then. Its has the 2 sided discs for the films (like the US Ultimate), but the other 2 discs from the US Ultimate aren't in it.

Which is fine by me! I have the DVD Ultimate edition boxset upstairs, and since the other 2 discs are just the DVD Animatrix (Boo, why no HD for this?) and the other 3 bonus discs im not missing much

Yes it is true, the Ultimate Collection comes with Movie on 1 side, special features on the other, plus a 4th Disc (DVD) that has Animatrix stuff.

Thanks. I'm glad I got the Complete box set now. I usually care about special features but I've seen soooo much special feature stuff on the Matrix trilogy already that it doesn't bother me. If the Animatrix was in HD then I'd consider the ultimate collection but I hear it is only in 480p.

yea, i've been on the fence between the Ultimate and Complete sets. but HDD's review says all the supplements in Ultimate are in standard def, so i'm gonna get the Complete version. i laready have the Ultimate version on DVD so i can always watch he extras on that without the frickin flip discs.

Another vote for the Complete Collection. Double-sided discs are something that make me not want to support the format anymore.
