I noticed this movie is rated in IMDb's Top 250 films ever. I already wanted to see it but now I'm even more anxious for this disc. Would have been nice if it were a day & date release but thankfully we didn't have to wait too much longer.

I've only just begun to get into both HD-DVD and Blu-ray but I must admit, this disc has the chance to really turn me in HD-DVD's favor. Right now I'm sort of sitting on the fence with both platforms. I pick up a couple of discs each week for both platforms but I loved V and if the disc holds up, I could start investing far more money and time with HD-DVD. I can't wait for this one!

This should be one of the top releases this year on HD-DVD, it was a great movie and is a perfect showcase for what HD-DVD can do. There's only two other titles I'm more excited to get on HD-DVD and those are The Matrix and King Kong.

Movie, Have you seen Batman Returns?...Most definitely the best HD-DVD release to date. The sharpness and sound were just first rate. I'm looking forward to King Kong though...I can see that being another great release.

Vote stuffing lives! I know IMDb do a lot of work to try and mitigate this problem, but given the critical panning this movie got I find it difficult to believe it's in their Top 250.

I'm still buying it because I avoided it at the cinema but think it will be a good HD workout.

I expect this to be a good HD-DVD - maybe one of the better released this year. The film was enjoyable, and it has all of the elements that could create a high quality HD release.

VfV holding steady at 127

I really enjoyed the movie. The cinematography and the dialogue really stood out to me as well as a great cast.

I held off buying this on DVD because of the favourable chances of this coming out on HD DVD. Can't wait!

Unfortunately I have already bought it on DVD (However,I have pretty much frozen purchases of SD-DVD at this point). If it gets good reviews about the video and audio quality, then I will probably buy it again.
