The title is a bit misleading. Certain titles outsold (or are outpacing) others last week.

Hehe I like how in the feedback, nearly every point of the article is shown to be wrong.

Except when they report good news for Blu-ray?

The numbers from the Article are based solely on Amazon.com for the first 6 days. If you look at the Highdefdigest.com link to the Amazon HD-DVD vs Blu-ray sales today, HP1-5 on on HD DVD is 191, while blu-ray is 105 and the HP5 is 242, while blu-ray is 157. I personally bought my HP1-5 from Warner directly and it got sent out a week after release (very annoying).

The Amazon Bourne Trilogy was outselling the single-edition Bourne Ultimatum. I'm quite sure it sold over a thousand.

I'm not surprised that Harry Potter HD DVD is outselling blu-ray.

People made a huge deal about 300 as "proof" that blu-ray owners buy more movies than HD DVD owners. Truth is, that 300 is overrated and appeals mainly to young men with fantasies of being tough guys...right down a videogamers alley.

See what happens when HD-DVD doesn't have to compete against BOGO sales?

300 is also bundled with the HD DVD players, can't count those sales. I agree though, the movies on HD tend to appeal more to the older crowd. Having Casino and Goodfellows restored is huge for me.
