The first quarter of 2008 for HD DVD is shaping up to be very strong with titles.

And what I like is that they are quality titles, which a cinephile would want to watch. It is nice getting the blockbusters, but it is these more meaningful movies which I really enjoy.

This title, Jesse James, Into the Wild, Elizabeth The Golden Age, The Pianist, are all non-blockbusters. Remember last year when there were hardly any announcements at this time? I do not care what anyone says, HD DVD is thriving.

Absolutely, I am looking forward to all of those titles, as well as the upcoming Kingdom, Eastern Promises, and Pan's Labyrinth.

I forgot about those titles. Eastern Promises is top on my list of those titles. It is a underrated film. Viggo and Naomi were superb in the film.
