Default Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - non Combo?

I ordered the non-combo disc version of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang from Amazon and while the outside has no mention of a combo the inside has a combo disc and an insert that says "introducing the HD DVD and DVD Combo Format Disc."

Before I send it back, is there actually a non-combo version or are they all combos, just no longer marketed as such and sold at a lower price point?

There are 2 versions 1 is a combo and 1 that is not. Might just be a packaging mistake. I would return it for a new copy.

I returned it and received the new copy today (the ships crossed in the mail) and I got ANOTHER non-combo packaging with a combo disc on the inside.

The plastic on the case was again very wrinkly from the heat of the shrink wrap machine.

I wonder if they just have a bunch of combo discs they're getting rid of...

In any case, I'm debating on whether I should return it again. The new disc plays okay in my Xbox 360 add-on, so maybe that first one was just a bad disc.

Anyway, for anyone who wants to get the Kiss Kiss Bang Bang combo for the non-combo price, check Amazon.com.

Same deal here. I recently ordered it from Amazon, and while the banner on the front of the case is the usual HD DVD banner, the disc is the combo disc. Not that I mind - I have a Toshiba HD-D2, and I haven't experienced any of the problems with combo discs that others report.

Wife and I just took the shrink wrap off ours tonight and found a combo in non-combo packaging.

Great flick! We really enjoyed it. It was well worth the $13 I paid for it on clearance and would have been happy to pay $20-$25 for it.

Damn Warner titles are getting harder and harder to find.

Anyone ever find this on a genuine non-combo?

I have the non-combo packaging with a combo inside. The case even came with feet (and they haven't used those since the early days) so I'm thinking they simply replaced the cover artwork in existing copies and never actually made the disks.

I actually have a non-combo version of the movie. The first copy I got from Amazon was one of the combos in a non-combo package (with the feet), but I sent it back in for a replacement and got a non-combo in a non-combo package. Sounds like I might be one of the lucky ones...

Interesting. I have no idea why I didn't return mine.
