Default Image Constraint Token (ICT)

I was wondering if anyone knew if the ICT has been put on any HD DVD's ? I have bought a A-3 for my father-in-law and his tv only has component connections. I need to know if there is any titles that he would run into problems displaying at 1080i. Thanks.

It was accidentally put on three recent releases from Germany, including Resident Evil. It was revealed that this was a mistake on the AVS insider's thread and printings will have it turned off. Other than that, there are no titles with this turned on.

Hasn't been implemented as of yet due to the older TVs with only component connections. I suspect this won't be an issue until it starts getting into the numbers sold closer to SD DVD.

I thought the studios agreed to not look at ICT until at least 2010. This time period would allow for the market to mature. Of course seeing that AACS and current BD+ titles are being circumvented, I dont really see why studios would add this to any movie.

I had heard that they had a non binding back alley agreement to not use it until 2010 but I stoped following the issue when I got an HDMI tv. It's good to know that its not being used. Thanks for the info guys.
