btw: what are the chances that this "Reservoir Dogs" is different than the less than stellar Blu-Ray version?

Lord of War for me It looks so much better than BD edition which had no extras at all. HD DVD will have behind the scenes feature, trailers & TV commercials, deleted scenes, interviews with Nicolas Cage, photo gallery and liner notes. Can't wait for this one.

Depends on what codec they use to encode it in and what master they use. It's possible if they use VC-1/AVC and use a 30GB HD-DVD (the Blu-Ray was MPEG2/25GB)

Yeah, that's what I want to find out--Is this a new/different encode? I'm hoping it is, because I love this movie, and have seen the Blu-Ray at a friend's house. Yuck! Sorry, but I really think they need to re-do this title ASAP. It's one of Blu-Ray's best exclusives imo. or was that is.

I'm going to go with 'Resevoir Dogs', and 'Lord of War' for sure...'Flyboys' looks tempting to cop and check out on HD DVD as well.
