Default Will you still buy SDVD movies if that studio does not support HD DVD?

For example if you wanted Casino Royale but it is only hitting BD and not HD-DVD will you just buy the standard def version or will you wait it out and hope Sony ends up losing this war and releases on HD-DVD? There are a few Sony/Fox movies I want.

Casino Royale
Borat
Little Miss Sunshine

Interesting question. I'd say yes, but sparingly. I wanted to see The Descent, so I picked it up. So many movies won't be released on HD DVD for some time so I'll continue to both watch, rent, and possibly purchase SD DVD. I mean, isn't one of the beauties of the format upgrade that you don't make your entire collection of DVDs obsolete?

I stopped buying SD DVDs. I only rent DVDs now and buy HD DVDs. Honestly, I barely even rent SD DVDs any more because I so much prefer HD.

There have been a few releases that have came out on Lionsgate that I wanted but have not picked up. My money is fully devoted to HD DVD now, no more DVDs.

Only rent DVDs, with the exception of TV Shows. I prefer HD ten times over SD, it just makes movie watching that much more enjoyable. I will rent for now and purchase HD.

I buy both HD and Blu-Ray. So the only DVDs I get are TV shows or movies that aren't on either format.

I've gotten more "choosey" about it. But I gotta have certain movies.

Since I've owned an HD-DVD player i've bought (that are blue-ray studios)

X-Men 3
Little Miss Sunshine
POTC 2
Click

Will Get:

Casino Royale
POTC 3
Spiderman 3
Borat

I used to buy multiple titles a week.
