Default Warner Lowers MSRP On New Combos

I'm surprised no has really noticed this. Warner used to charge $39.99 for HD DVD and $34.99 for Blu-ray on all new day and date releases. Beginning with Ocean's Thirteen the MSRP for both Blu-ray and HD DVD is now $35.99. Blu-ray is being charged an extra dollar while HD DVD gets four dollars off. Follow the links below confirming this:

Ocean's Thirteen
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
The Invasion

This is a better (not best) approach to HD DVD combo pricing. Now if Universal will follow it will be awesome.

I believe he's talking about MSRP rather than street price.

The MSRP went down starting with Ocean's Thirteen. Combos released before still have the $39.99 price.
