I put the combo disc for a few reasons

1. I can use it in any DVD player
2. I use it to trick people by putting in the DVD side, play it at 480p, then flip it to the HD DVD side and play it in high def glory I do this all the time when showing off my HD DVD player
"well it looks a little better..." then i flip the disc and get "Wow!!! That looks a whole lot better!!!"

Sony Fanboys should like this reason!

3. I don't have a choice! If I want Superman returns on HD DVD I have to buy the combo disc! ok, so I would like to have a choice. If I had a choice I would still buy some combo discs, but not as many.

I put prefer because I put them to actual practical use. And you didn't include an option for "I don't mind them", rather than "I PREFER them."

HD DVD only. I HATE flippers . Disc art is soooo much nicer. Plus I own 2 players so no need for a SD version.

There is no I Don't Mind option as I would think most people would have a preference one way or the other.
That's all this is asking.

Realistically, I prefer the lower price than combo - except for certain discs such as the one my kid watches (so I can play them in the car). If the prices were the same or only slightly higher, then the combo discs give me more flexibility.

However, since most of those on this forum own an HD player of one kind or another (except for doby who started this thread), Combo discs aren't mostly targeted at us, but rather at people who have not yet bought a player but want their investment to have value in the future.
