Default Beetlejuice on HD DVD??

I've watched this movie on HDNet the other day and I can only imagine what this would look like in HD (physical format). There are so many colors and sounds on this show that would really benefit from a HD upgrade.

Given that this is a WB film, I wonder if we will see it anytime soon with a TrueHD track.

If it is Warner and is not announced yet, it will probably be a Total HD disc.

As long as it is under $30, with TrueHD I have no problem with that.

I agree, I love this movie and it is one of those comedies that would really benefit from both the HD and TrueHD transfer.

Michael Keaton was awesome in this film, it's unfortunate he doesn't go back to comedy. He was hilarious in Mr. Mom as well. I guess the same could be said about Tom Hanks though as well (Big, Money Pit, Bachelor Party and etc...).

Warners has worldwide distribution rights according to my google search so it should be on both formats at some point.

They've declined to put out a special edition DVD for countless years... If they ever did one, I would expect the HD version to debut alongside it.

It's definitely one of my favorite Burton films. Mr. Mom was on HDNet Movies last month and looked great. I can't wait until they have either film in HD.
