WONDERFUL!! It's so much faster than my A1 and the black goes better with my whole setup. I was watching Hunt for red October yesterday on it and wow it loaded so fast I was like yay woo hoo!!
Mischa.

Thumbs up

I'm very satisfied with the A2. Price and performance, in my opinion, are unbeatable. I do wish it had 5.1 analog outputs so I could take advantage of the higher res audio. By no means was that a deal breaker though.

I recently upgraded to the A2. I was using the 360 AddOn. I just wasn't ready to drop $500 at the time for something I wasn't sure about yet. I got my first A2 for $250, and a second Friday for $98.
I totally prefer it over the 360 AddOn.

I was planing on getting the A3 on black Friday at sears but I couldn't pass up the A2 at wally world for 98 bucks. Ive watched a few movies since hooking it up and wow it blows my 360 add on out of the water. The picture is so much better and the sound is also better. I guess its due to using HDMI instead of component. The load time is also not an issue like I was afraid it would be. Now I'm going to be bringing my add on to all my friends houses to demo movies and try to get them to jump arbored the HD DVD bandwagon.

I had the A1 as well I've had it over a year last August. When my husband and I got married. I definitely see the difference between the A1 & A2 much faster.
Mischa.

Yes a definate upgrade the A1 was too big and bulky. But one thing it did play all the Combos that were dodgy.

I just got the A3; the nice thing about it is that I can turn it on, go take a wiz, turn the lights off, grab a soda and sit in my comfy chair all before the machine actually starts up. It is so much slower than my Panasonic.

Hi all. I'm a newbie on this forum. I was not really happy with my xbox360 add-on due to the continuous noise of the unit, and the picture was washed out.

I almost bought an A3 for $300 at BB a couple of weeks ago, but before making the plunge I wanted to do more research, so I started to hang out on this forum.

I was lucky to see the posts on the Wal-Mart A2 special Friday morning before heading to work. I was lucky to grab the last unit on sale that morning.

Overall I'm very happy by the switch. I can finally enjoy HD movies without that constant annoying fan background noise, and the picture seems a lot better with HDMI.
