Could this mean an HD-DVD release is also being planned?
I would have to think so.

I dont know, but I have noticed many movies in HD already on Xbox Live Marketplace are also on HDM. Braveheart is already offered on Live in HD. I guess we'll just have to see.

It would not surprise me to see it released.

Don't be surprised. Remember the mention of a ton of HD DVDs coming in Q4? Hell, even I'm curious.

I hope so. I thought I'd never see this on HD because I thought it's distributed by Fox. Turns out that's for everywhere but the US, so it'd be a definite import for me.

IDK... if there are no plans for Titanic HD DVD when a new DVD release has already been announced why might there be plans for Braveheart HD DVD under the same circumstances?

Obviously, until there is an announcement, we don't know of course. However, we know they will be releasing titles and based on the circumstances this one could be a likely candidate. But it is all speculation, naturally.

I have a suspicion that will turn around soon. However both Zodiac and Shrek (Dreamworks, though an affiliate of Paramount) were just announced. Not a bad start.

I'm psyched for Anchorman and Old School as well from Paramount.

I might have to pick up Braveheart if it's released. Believe it or not I've never seen the whole thing. My girl despises it with a passion.

I'm not much of a Mel Gibson fan these days though.
