That is a tough question... Dimension used to be exclusively a Disney-owned company, but now Dimension can be partnered with most anyone it seems.

Some HD DVD Dimension titles out now include "Wolf Creek" and "Black Christmas", but those are because they are tied in with the Weinsteins, I believe. Other Dimension movies like "The Amityville Horror" and "Halloween" remakes are tied with MGM, which are Blu Ray. Older Dimension movies like "Scream" are affiliated with Disney, which is Blu Ray.

I may have a couple facts mixed up, but I think its pretty close.

Are you sure about that? Has that been officially announced? Its released by Dimension and MGM domestically, and, as far as I knew, MGM was Blu Ray only.

MGM releases all the dimension movies theatrically, however weinstein company holds the home distribution rights.

Thank you! I did not know that.

Do you know anything about who holds the rights to the older Dimension movies released under the Disney brand, such as "Scream"?

Disney retains ownership of those movies. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is a good example. Plus Scary Movie 1-3 will all be BD exclusive because of Disney.
