Default Slim pickin's at Target

Looks like both Target stores around me have shrunk the HD DVD section, and enlarged the BR section. It's 2 columns of HD and 4 columns of BR.

I was going to pick up some movies, but not at those prices. $35 for all the HD DVDs. Heck 300 was $10 cheaper on BR. Oh well, they can keep the few they have.

Same situation I just noticed this afternoon at the local Target store. Both formats originally had 3 columns each, now BD has 4 columns and HD DVD only has 2

This will change later in the year when Transformers is released and BD has fewer titles available. Right now BD still has some Paramount stuff in their columns like Disturbia, that stuff will be gone.

Wow, same thing here where i live. I talked to someone here at ours that orders them. They sell 10 BR's for ever 1 HD. He also said they will only be carrying BR players.

Mine is still the same. Except they've started carrying older releases like Planet Earth. Sorta odd I guess.

meh, at a couple of Targets near me they still have only 2 columns for each format + the occasional end cap will have big titles like 300 in DVD, HD DVD and BD. what is interesting though is that about 50% of the HD DVDs are always sold out...... This means one of two things, HD DVDs are selling well , or they are not restocking

I guess I could pull a page out of team blu's playbook, ask a clerk and then hopefully post a new thread on the smakdown side about how HD DVDs are outselling BD at my local Targets!

My target just did the same thing. Strangely I can never find an HD DVD there, they are always sold out.

Maybe they were paid off by the BDA and we should boycott them.
