Default Space Ace HD DVD

Hi,
do you remember Space Ace? It was announced for HD DVD in 2008 but unfortunately never made it out. Possibly we will see it soon on HD DVD:

This is excellent news. I couldn't tell from the site, but is going pressed or burned? It sounds like a pressing since will work on an XBox HD DVD player. If it's a pressing I may pay the $60.

I am not sure but I will ask. It will be definitely a 3xDVD.
Most likely it will be pressed. Otherwise you don't need a funding target of $3000.

I asked Syd and that is what he said:"The discs will be burned, but professionally printed on (ie: NOT A LABEL) --- and yes it will be red case. Put it this way --- it will look and work like any other HD DVD in your collection."

Dumb question, it's not like this has never been available, it was released on BD at the time, how is the HDDVD different? or is it just the format that you guys are desiring?

I am not sure if the HD DVD version differs from the Blu-ray. I found that "each title will have slightly different extras". Syd confirmed the announced HD DVD specs from 2008:

An interesting Blu-ray review you can find here:
http://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Space-...ay/706/#Review
Due to the lack of space there will only find the original 1.33 version on the the disc not the cropped one.
The online mode is not working as the servers are not up but Syd is hoping to fix that in the future.

Nice find - I'm in!

Unwrapped my copy of Dragon's Lair HD DVD the other night and tried to play it on one of my HD-XE1 players, and it didn't seem to be very playable... If I didn't make a choice in the first few nano seconds of every scene it was too late. Didn't have time to enjoy much of the action or the art. Anyone know if it is supposed to be this way? Hope Space Ace is a bit more enjoyable!
