Default 'Nutty Professor 2' - High-Def Digest review

Just posted Peter's review of 'Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps.' He says this comedy won't give your home theater much of a workout, but it definitely delivers on the bottom line -- the transfer is eye-popping and colorful, and Universal has thrown in a full-blown Dolby TrueHD track, plus plenty of supplements.

Most likely Bourne had been in production longer since it was a higher profile titles, so the decisions were made earlier.

I agree though that I would have liked Identity in TrueHD, but frankly DD+ is able to deliver excellent sound so it does not bother me enormously.

Well, I am buying it mostly because I have part 1 in HD. While this one was not quite as good/original as part 1, my wife and I got good laughs out of it when we first watched it.

Like I and others have stated before, some movies are not worthy of hd. This is one of them, imho. However.. to you and me it may be a waste of disc space, to others it's a welcomed release.

not everybody has your taste.
There may even be people who buy "are we done yet?" on Blu-Ray. Not sure why. But that's not for us to say, or try to understand.

I believe there is an error in the review. At the top of the review it states it is UNRATED while on the back cover of the HD DVD it clearly says PG-13. The cover art for this release is also the DVD cover art for the PG-13 version. Universal's site also denotes this title as PG-13.

In other words, this is not the unrated cut. A warning for a possible double-dip down the road.

I really thought Nutty Proffessor 2 looked awful on HD DVD. So bad, that I gave it away. The picture was not sharp, the colors did not jump out and there was alot of dirt. To me this is nowhere in the same league as The Bourne Identity, The War or Darkman. What am I missing or not seeing?
