Default Rarest domestic HD-DVDs?

I was curious if there were truly rare domestic releases on HD-DVD? I've rebuilt my collection in the span of 2 weeks from zero, to almost 200.

So, I'm curious if anyone knows of actual release numbers on more rare items? I know the Blade Runner Collector's Edition only had a run of 2500, but what else was rare?

As I try to rebuild my complete domestic collection, I was wondering which ones to watch out for.

The only really rare domestic title I can think of is the Jack Ryan Collection.

The price drop was more so as a result of the sudden release of 2000+ copies of the :iconhddvdpngci7: that had been in storage in the WB vaults.

...Yes. Because Warner couldn't release them until after the BD came out. Before, only a few trickled out.

I haven't read up on HD-DVD news in sometime. But I remember there was some talk about there being a trickle of Bee Movie on HD-DVD. What ever happened to that bit of gossip? Was it ever substantiated?

Hi Lurk, no-the listing appeared on many retailer websites and then disappeared. As far as I know no copies made it into circulation.

Thanks for the confirmation, digitalbabe. It all did feel like smoke and mirrors when there was all of that Bee Movie HD-DVD talk.
