Default How can I get a screenshot from a HD-DVD movie?

Hopefully I'm not breaking any rules here with this question. I'm not trying to do anything illegal here.

I'm trying to figure out how to get a screenshot from a HD-DVD movie. It's for my website. You can click on the link in my sig to see how I use them.

I've been able to use MPC to get screenshots from Blu-ray, but it doesn't work on HD-DVD's. I also have PowerDVD (7.3), but the screenshot functionality is turned off for HD discs.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks, but I've tried a ton of those and could get none of them to work.

Sometimes if screen capturing doesn't work directly from an .evo file with MPC - HC it may work better from a demuxed video stream which could be obtained e.g. with eac3to or tsmuxer.

I usually try to demux the video stream and use that if screen capturing doesn't work well otherwise. And if I can't get it working with MPC - HC I usually try with Nero 8 ShowTime.

Thanks, this worked. It's a very round about way of getting a simple screenshot, but I'm not going to complain at this point!

I ended up using the Clown BD GUI because I'm not a videophile and couldn't figure out the command line version of eac3to!

Sorry it took so long to respond also, life's been hell. )
