Default Possible Dutch Group Import

Ok Apparently bol.com has a bunch of their discs on sale but shipping is even worse than Amazon.de. Here is a list of Movies they "seem" to have in stock and their price (in Euro). I havent figured out yet whether that does/does not include VAT (or if they have VAT) but it should give you a good starting place

1408 - 27.99
3 Days of the Condor - 9.99
Underworld - 9.99 (does not appear to be in stock)
Saw 3 - 9.99
Running Scared - 9.99
Resorvoir Dogs - 9.99
Messengers - 9.99
Lord of War - 9.99
Home of the Brave - 9.99
The Fog - 9.99
Flyboys - 9.99
Elephant Man - 9.99
Tristan and Isolde - 9.99
Rescue Dawn - 9.99

They have all 3 Rambo movies, T2 etc but they are not priced well at all so I left them off the list. If there is anything on the list that is funky (crappy transfer/no english language/subs/weird cut/wrong OAR etc) could you please post if you know. Post here if you would be interested in this. I am not going to do it for a few discs it would just be cheaper to buy them from exploited but if enough people are interested I will be happy to run this.

Question

They also have The Graduate for 9,99.

Does anyone know anything about this Dutch release. Does it have any pitch issues?

Elephant Man - 9.99
Resorvoir Dogs - 9.99

is the Dutch 3 Days of the Condor like the French and German Import if you have the English Audio track on do you get French or German subtitle that can't be switched off

I'd buy Running Scared. Is T&I any good? I'm not into love stories.

I'm pretty sure all the European (U.K., French & German) are all based off the Universal/Studio Canal transfer, and there are no reported pitch issues.

Again, all the various European releases are based on the Studio Canal transfer and have the forced subtitles. I got the German release and watched it last night. Using the C & D buttons on the remote you can reduce the font and position it down the bottom black bar. On single line subs I could barely see the tops of the letters, on double lines they were still way down the black bar. Didn't bother me a bit. I liked the movie, and the PQ is excellent.

Well, as an FYI, Kannisto posted this in the "Info on Imports" sticky thread -

A word of warning for people who are interested in buying this title - it seems based on some Dutch online forum discussions that the Dutch release of Running Scared is quite bad in quality, among the worst of the new Dutch releases together with Lord of War. I would recommend getting the German release of Running Scared instead, it's very good in PQ/AQ department.
