Default HD DVD distributors in different countries

gunz4sale was asking for a list of HD DVD distributors overseas. I figured we could prepare a list in this thread - need some support from people in various countries to get good and accurate info for those countries. I will start by listing Japanese HD DVD distributors.

I used HD DVD new release information catalogue released in Japan (Winter '07-'08 edition) to get this list of Japanese HD DVD distributors. There are actually quite many, though many of them are releasing variety or music contents and not necessarily movies. I bolded the distributors who are releasing some high profile movie or documentary contents.

Japan
- Avex
- Kansai TV (関西テレビ)
- Gaga Communications
- Geneon Entertainment
- Showgate
- Shochiku Home Video
- TDK Core (TDKコア株式会社)
- Digisite (デジタルサイト)
- Data Stadium (Fantasista DVP-HP)
- Nest
- Paramount Japan
- Bandai Visual
- VideoArts Music
- Pony Canyon
- Media Factory
- Universal Japan
- Warner Home Video Japan

I guess Warner can still be kept on the list as they haven't stopped releasing yet. Bandai Visual is also still releasing at least Freedom vol. 4-6.

Germany:

Ascot Elite
Concorde
Constantin / Highlight (till March 1, 2008)
e-m-s
Kinowelt / Studio Canal
Paramount / Dreamworks
Senator (till X X, 2008)
Universal
Universum
Warner (till May 1, 2008)
WVG

Maybe I forgot one or two, don't know exactly... And don't expect too much, Germany is "HD 3rd World", some websites don't even list the HD DVDs. In addition, there are some music labels publishing "in red".

I would recommend to browse Amazon.DE instead of our publisher's websites!

The idea of this thread is to list all HD DVD distributors in various countries, it gets quite complicated if the list would need to be filtered based on whether the distributors have released something that is Blu-ray exclusive in the U.S. or not. There are also many import-exclusives that are not likely to be released in the U.S. anytime soon regardless of whether or not they are owned by "Blu-ray exclusive" studio there and some movies or other content may not have any distributor in the U.S. etc.

Thanks for the Dutch, German and UK lists guys! I hope we can get also at least French, Italian, Polish and Spanish lists up as well. Australia too, though I don't know if there are any Australian exclusive releases available yet
