Default CSI Miami (S5.1) on HD DVD in Germany

Extras and cover are now available at http://areahd.dvdtiefpreise.com/?p=201.

It will be released in Germany. Paramount has the rights in the US.
This disc will also have dynamicHD.

Nice one. Still haven't checked my CSI N.Y. Promo. Maybe I should do so in the future.

I'm wondering how much the price will be on this one. Would be interested in buying it if it's not very expensive

The Technology

dynamicHD is the missing link between your Home Cinema setup and the Internet. It uses the network connectivity of your HD DVD player and the option provided by the next generation formats of adding additional content to the replicated disc at any time over the Web.
Which features does dynamicHD provide?

With dynamicHD you can for example

* Enhance your disc
* Create and share
* Access all Areas
*

How can I use dynamicHD?

To use dynamicHD all you have to do is to connect your HD DVD player to the Internet via an internet access - and soon over wireless LAN as well. The dynamicHD user interface, the Content Navigator, is integrated in the HD DVD menu set and lets you download new, up-to-date content directly from your living room TV at any time.

That's cool. The promo disc uses the same feature I think. At least I read about it in the magazine this promo disc came with.

What do you think? Should I review it on my blog? Specially the DynamicHD feature?

Don't get your hopes up. I doubt it will be reasonably priced after the currency conversion unless the exchange rate goes up/down (depending how you look at it) a lot before april. I haven't picked up Resident Evil yet because at 28 euros it would cost me a little over $41 USD, and I live in Germany! That's with me going down the road to Media Markt!

Yeah, I assume it will be a bit pricey, I'm used to import prices as I import a lot from Europe and Japanese discs are not too cheap either, just hoping this one will not be off the chart in terms of pricing as it's a kind of a box set

I stopped watching Miami after the 3rd season to focus on NY then I just stopped watching both because I was watching other shows. I have the 4th season on DVD so I need to find time to watch it.
