Default Fantastic Four 2 available in Germany/Switzerland

Maybe some interesting news for you outside of Europe:

Yesterday I received my copy of Fantastic Four, Rise Of The Silver Surfer. PQ is quit good, sure better than on the first FF-Movie, and also the AQ seems to be good (I didn't have the time to watch the movie until now).

But I founded the inlay very interesting. Besides some info about the actors there are this data:
  • Capacity: DL 30GB
  • File format: UDF 2.5
  • Max. data rate: 36Mbit/s
  • Max. video-data rate: 30Mbit/s
  • Laser wavelength: 405nm
  • Video formats: VC-1, Target Bit rate 18.5Mbit/s
  • Audio formats: DTS-HD HR, Bit rate 2Mbit/s (German + English)

I have never seen data like this in a booklet

I watched it yesterday and the PQ was superb. Audio seemed to be okay, but allthough my audio setup is 5.1 it is not good enough to allow me to judge on the dts-hd soundtrack.

I watched it also yesterday, and I agree with you (PQ). Well, I find also the AQ really good, not fantastic, but sure good

Got my copy on Xmas Eve, just checked it out. The PQ is quite frankly gorgeous and the sound is no slouch either. Spot the comedy spelling error in the Trailers section of the menu. Also, just what is that CGI animated movie previewed on the disc? Looks interesting.
