Default Spider-Man HD DVD Import?

I know spidey is a Sony/BD Title but i remember seeing that Ghost Rider was available in HD DVD a while back and that is a Sony Title too so i was wondering if anyone knows if there are any plans for Spidey to be release overseas on HD DVD?

Sorry dude, there's no way Sony would let this title out of their property. If you want to see it in HD quality then get a BD player.

While Ghost Rider was distributed by Sony in the U.S., the film was produced by Marvel Enterprises, who sold distribution rights to different studios in different territories.

Sony produced Spider-Man themselves, and have worldwide distribution rights.

I wish man, I really do. Spiderman 3 was my top film this year along with Transformers and Blood Diamond.
Oh and by the way I made my avatar myself hoping some Blu Ray fanboy would say something...as of yet, no luck lol.

Default Burn it to HD-DVD

I'm just waiting for the inexpensive HD-DVD burner that is sure to come out soon. Then I'll just rent Spidy from my nearest Blockbuster and Shazam! Spidy on HD-DVD.
I'm sure many people will do the same or simply buy the bootleg Blu-Ray to HD-DVD movies and companies like Sony will realize that if they fail to release titles on HD-DVD they will be losing a lot of revenue.

^Really? I thought 3 was the best.
I was thinking (and i know its a long shot) if you had a lot of money and the facilities. Would it be possible to 'backup' an Blu Ray disc like Spiderman and burn it to HD DVD?
